Successful Shopping

I successfully added a "few" pieces to my collection of
Sandwich Pattern Glass collection on my recent trip to Asheville, NC
with tea friends.
Perhaps I have completed my collection?
I have all the pieces I need for serving afternoon tea or a nice luncheon.
Is there such a thing as completing a collection?

Note:  Asheville, NC is a great place to go "antiquing."

Linda, how wonderful to have so many beautiful pieces of Sandwich glass! Lucky you!

Antiquing is always such fun - especially when you find pieces to add to a collection. Such fun memories of that day in Asheville!
And no, I don't think a collection is ever completed. ;-)

I had no idea what those three or four pieces in my glass cabinet were.

That cream and sugar, a handle-less one just like the sugar, and a tinier version of it.

We use them for jelly and jam and sauces and pickles (so pretty with beets and little pearly onions in them) and cranberry sauce, etc., though they don't match anything but themselves.

When we don't have a big crowd and I don't fill up the egg-plate, there's usually one of these full of something good in the center.

My goodness, you DID have antiquing success! And no, I don't think we ever really complete a collection, ha!

Could you host a tea using only this pattern? That would be lovely!

How fun to have enough to serve tea with. Beautiful collection and now I want to shop there too.

How nice for you! I am not sure you're ever really done collecting, else we'd not have an excuse for shopping lol. I am so glad you found so much - it's lovely.
