Afternoon Tea at the Inn on Biltmore Estate

After a full day of touring the Biltmore Estate, we arrived
at the Library of the Inn on Biltmore Estate for their Full Afternoon Tea.
We each chose from a nice variety of Mighty Leaf teas.
The first course was served plated.
Tea Sandwiches included:
Cucumber Sandwich with homemade cream cheese
Egg Salad garnished with a radish slice and fresh dill
Sun Dried Tomato Cheese Spread with smoked bacon and cherry tomato
Chicken Salad Croissant
Black Bean, Mushroom and Sun Dried Tomatoes open face sandwich
Mini Spinach Quiche
The scones and sweets were served on the three-tiered server.
Yellow Layer Cake with Pistachio Nuts
Strawberry Cream Puffs
Chocolate Truffles
on the top tier
Lemon Blueberry Fruit Bread on the middle tier
Orange and Ginger Scones
on the bottom tier
The china is a reproduction of the beautiful Vanderbilt china.

The ladies gathered around this beautiful tea table were:
Angela of Tea With Friends
Lynn of Frivolitea Blog

Sandy from MI
And, my friend Lynn from KY

And, me.
We all enjoyed a "tea-lightful" week of travels and tea.
Of course the "fun" included a little shopping time,
as you can see from the Biltmore China Trio below.
