Afternoon Tea - West Baden Springs, IN

In my last post, I featured the French Lick Springs Hotel in French Lick, IN.
Just one mile away is the fabulous West Baden Springs Hotel in the town of West Baden Springs. These two fabulous resorts are owned and operated by the same company.  They share all activities and have a regularly scheduled shuttle service between the two.

Afternoon Tea is served at West Baden Springs on Saturdays May 19th - October 13th
in the amazing domed atrium spanning 200 feet.
Unfortunately, we were unable to participate in the tea because our visit was during mid-week.
GJ promised we will schedule a weekend trip just for afternoon tea.

This gorgeous building was built in 1902.
The guys enjoyed a game of checkers in the lobby after going to the water park
and before having a late lunch.

How beautiful! And how fun to have a chance to visit there even without tea.

I traveled to French Lick many years ago and stayed in the Springs Hotel and visited the West Baden Hotel as well. Thanks for reminding me a of these beautiful historic sites. Tea time there would be lovely I'm sure.

Oh my, yes, I think it would definitely be worth going back to take tea in such a lovely setting!
