Iced Tea and Good Health

June is National Iced Tea Month.
Iced Tea is better known here in the south as "Ice Tea."

The June 2012 issue of Better Homes and Gardens Magazine
highlights iced tea in a small article on page 178.
"Nothing cools you down quite like iced tea...Thanks to its rich stores of polphenols, even the humble black variety is associated with reduced rates of heart attack and ovarian cancer."
Research from the University of Arizona points out that brewing tea with boiling water releases more polyphenols than cold brewing or sun brewing.

Nice photo of you. Ice tea in the south has sugar too, here in the west we most often drink it plain.
