Serendipity and Fun Adventures

Can you believe these two 13 year old best buddies and classmates from a small town in Kentucky
ran into each other on Bourbon Street the first night both of them were in NOLA?!?
What a surprise!
Neither of them knew the other was there!
TW and family were there for a conference with his mom.
We were there for another conference.
Our hotels were just 5 blocks from each other.

GJ and AJ invited TW to join them on a swamp tour.
What a fun adventur made more fun because it was shared with a buddy!

Everyone had an opportunity to hold a baby alligator.

After the adventures in the swamp, they enjoyed Beignets
and a walk around the French Quarter.
Making memories with special friends...

By the way, I had a day to myself
wandering around the French Quarter, shopping, lunch and more!

What fun for A.J. to meet up with a buddy, and what fun for you to have a day to yourself in the French Quarter. I'm guessing you did some antiquing and tea sipping!

That swamp tour looks interesting! and how exciting to meet up with an unexpected buddy ~ it's a small world! Same thing happened to the daughter of my Japanese pen pal on the streets of NYC!!
