Happy 4th of July!

I purchased this blue and cream colored teacup at the McFarland House.
It is by Wood and Sons made in England.  It is marked "dishwasher proof"
and "fine tableware."  I assume it is what I would call "everyday tableware."
The cup is large and it will be perfect for my everyday cuppa tea.
Enjoy this special holiday!
Are you celebrating?
We will have a family cookout and watch the community fireworks in the evening.

How pretty! Love the blue and cream color scheme. I am celebrating with my daughter and 6week old granddaughter this morning, then when they go home I think I'm going to a movie then to a cookout with friends tonight followed by fireworks viewing. Have a fun day!

Hi Linda! Love your new teacup. Jerry brought me back a new blue and white transferware teacup and teapot from Gettysburg, PA on his recent trip. I will blog about it when I finish my tea journey series -- which I think has three posts left.
The only celebrating we did today was at the hospital this morning when our new granddaughter was born. Jerry and I were at the hospital all night [from 1:00 a.m. until about 9:30 a.m.] so my body is dragging a little today.

Hi, Linda -
I came here from Marilyn's 'Delights of the Heart'. I love your new cup and saucer - perfect for a good cup of tea anytime! Marilyn just told me you are going to be at her lunch and tea. I'm excited to get a chance to meet and chat over tea.
