Purple Teapots For Alzheimer's Month

Every day in September, I used my "purple" teapots
to help me remember my mother and friends who have traveled
along the Alzheimer's Journey.
I was honored to host the Afternoon Tea Across America (ATAA) Yahoo Online Group
plum (purple) colored Traveling Teapot during September, World's Alzheimer's Month.
Featured in the photo above with my mother's favorite teacup trios.

Read about the teapot's Kentucky adventures with me at

These are my English Bone China "purple" teapots
collected over several years.

Perhaps I can find a new-to-me purple teapot
for September 2013.
Hmm... I think I just issued myself a teapot shopping challenge!

Love that you honor your mom's memory with the purple teapots. Purple makes such a pretty splash on the teapots you have and I just know you will find that next special purple.

Very beautiful purple teapots. A lovely collection. I have teacups that match some of your teapots. :D

But --- there are not many purple teapots at my house. Recently, though, a friend gave me a beautiful violets teapot --- and it matches perfectly a creamer and sugar I already had.

Being a tea lady is such fun...
