Yesterday's Cafe and Tea Room

Melissa and I enjoyed lunch tea at Yesterday's Cafe and Tea Room
in Florence, KY on Friday.
I called ahead to see if they have a gluten-free menu, as Melissa has Celiac.
They have a wide variety of gluten-free items on their menu,
and can offer a gluten-free afternoon tea with advance reservations.
Melissa was so happy!

The server offered us samples of their two
teas of the day, a Chai and Spring Green.
Both were delicious.

Afternoon Tea at Yesterday's includes an iced tea
and a pot of hot tea.
I chose the Matcha Lemonade (above) and Melissa chose the Matcha Blueberry (below)
We shared a pot of Spring Green Tea.

Melissa ordered from the Gluten-Free menu and will post photos later on her blog.
My tea/lunch began with the Parmesan Tomato Soup
and  a Scone with Lemon Curd.
Next, I had a scoop of Curried Chicken Salad
and an Orange Green Salad with Poppyseed Dressing.

The delicious dessert was a Two-Bite Peach Bread Pudding.
Melissa's lunch tea included a cup of Vegetarian Chili
a slice of amaxingly delicious Gluten-Free Earl Grey Tea Bread,
and a Mango Chicken Salad with a Ginger Lime Vinaigerette.

Susan Schultz is  the owner of Yesterday's Cafe and Tea Room.
Yesterday's is our favorite Tea Room in N. KY,
and one of our favorites in the USA.

How nice to find a tearoom that would do gluten free. Sounds just delightful and always fun to have tea with a daughter.
