Cataloochee Guest Ranch 2012

We arrived at the Cataloochee Guest Ranch on Sunday afternoon,  September 30th,
and checked into Wintergreen Cabin.
This is our third fall break visit here.
We love the peace and quiet on this beautiful mountain.
First activity on the family agenda is fishing in the trout pond.

Sunday afternoon's successful trout fishing became lunch on Monday.
Did I mention at the Cataloochee Guest Ranch, you much clean your own catch?
But, the cook at the ranch house prepared it in the typical style of a
North Carolina trout, baked whole.

GJ served trout to the guests at lunch on Monday.
We have returned home,
but our fall break posts and photos have only just begun!

You have the most wonderful adventures, and share them delightfully.

But I'm sorta giggling to myself: You took PARSLEY to a Mountain Cabin?

Even my prinky-food mind bows down to that one. Beautiful.

Sorry for the confusion, Rachel. All the meals are prepared by the cooks at the ranch house. I corrected this post to reflect that little tidbit. :-)
