Harney Citrus Blend

As I continue on my journey of trying different tea blends,
this morning I made a pot of Harney and Sons Citrus Blend.

This is a blend of black tea flavored with bergamot, grapefruit and orange.

Click on Harney and Sons to read their information and review.

Anyone who knows my tea tastes, knows it has been a "stretch" for me
to purchase and taste various flavored teas.
This is not one I will not purchase again, due to the tart, almost bitter citrus flavor.
However, I am going to try it again.  This time I will infuse it for 2 minutes, then again for 3 minutes to see if perhaps my 4 minute brewing process was too long.
I will gladly send samples from my 4 oz. tin to tea friends who would like
to try this tea.  Just let me know in a comment to this post.

Hello Linda,
You are very brave to try new teas. I am so stuck in my Chamomile, mints and English Breakfast tea, that I don't wander far off. Now you have inspired me to give something new a go.....I will let you know how it goes.
Hugs,
Terri

Interesting! When I saw the ingredients I thought "oh I am not sure I would like this one". Fun to read your review.

It's lovely in the cup, quite like Rooibos---whose time will be soon, for I like it on a cold afternoon with a good book.

I like grapefruit ANYTHING, and am always delightfully surprised when a powder room has grapefruit-scented soap.

Congratulations on trying different teas. You sometimes find a new favourite when you do that - I know I have and Harney's Paris has been an example of that.
I would like to try a sample of this - it's one I've been considering for a while and I like all the flavours you mentioned.

I once had a small sample of grapefruit black tea from Teas Etc that was surprisingly delicious. I'd love to try a sample of this tea. I hope you like it better with shorter steepings. I am usually a diehard *pure* tea fan, so am always surprised to like some flavored teas.
