Kentucky DAR Tea

Today several DAR friends and I attended DAR Silver Tea in Paris, KY

The event was hosted by the state officers and district directors.
We enjoyed the afternoon tea and shopping in the gift shop.

Above photo, Mary K. Kauffman, our Chapter Regent and State Historian, and me.
Tea, punch, finger sandwiches and various sweets were served buffet-style.
Duncan Tavern was beautifully decorated for fall.
All the ladies attending enjoyed the event.

So beautifully done. You look gorgeous. Sometimes I am tempted to join the DAr, but I haven't. I have used their Patriot books for info on family genealogy, however.
