The Lexington Herald-Leader published the winners of their
annual "Dress the Turkey" contest today.
According to the newspaper,
"Readers could use any idea they wanted for the Thanksgiving bird.
Among the hundreds of entries were Disney characters, sports figures,
TV stars, politicians, University of Kentucky basketball players,
cartoon characters, and more."
The top 20 were published in the paper today with the top 10 winning
$15 gift cards from Kroger.
Artists were all ages, including several elementary school students.
I just had to share the "TEA TURKEY", above.
It was submitted by a KY lady.
This is a fun annual event.

You made us smile - very cute - Happy Thanksgiving Linda!!!
The tea turkey is gorgeous! So much time and effort and it all paid off in the presentation. Adorable (and not mean spirited like one of the others). I bet the town enjoys this contest.
She's dressed to a T (tea)!
How cute! What a fun thing! Love them all! Happy Thanksgiving!
