I spent the first week of December in mid-80's temperatures in Florida,
and returned home to a whirlwind of family activities.
Therefore, the Christmas decorations went up Thanksgiving weekend,
and were downsized from years before.
Our tree decorations include handmade ornaments, gifts from friends,
and ornaments collected during travels. Some date back to the 1970s.
A Christmas tree full of family memories!
What began as a Santa Music Box collection, due to breakage, etc.,
is now a Santa Collection displayed on the mantle in the living room.
The two daughter's family personalized stockings have been sent to their homes
for Santa to fill for their own Christmas morning celebrations.
This year GJ added a train scene to my Tea House Village.
And, below, the large tea themed tree was replaced with
the tiny teacup tree. This is in our tea room/music room.
We used my mother's drop-leaf cherry dining room table
(below) for our family dinner on Sunday night
with Princess KJ's family.
The entrance foyer above, and the porch below
with a very light dusing of snow outside this morning.
From our home to yours,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
