Has Santa Been on Vacation?

Last week when I was in Florida with Mary,
the temperatures were in the mid 80's and Santa was taking a nap!
Mary and I decorated our door with a touch of Kentucky Blue!
That's me, below, with a Venice, FL turtle.
They also have decorated dolphins.
December on the Florida waterfront means it's time for
twilight boat parades.
What a fun time we had with old and new friends!
Visiting waterfront restaurants and enjoying the beautiful sunsets
nightly was high on our agenda.
This was in Sarasota.
The dish below is fish tacos.  Yum!
The server said they only serve them on the weekends and
people come from miles around for these special fish
tacos with grilled grouper, tropical coleslaw,
avocado slices, feta cheese and more!
Fresh baked apricot scones and a pot of tea.
What a great way to start the morning!

I have returned home and am back to the routine!
In the next post,
I will share afternoon tea photos
from one of my very favorite tea rooms.

Looks like a great time! Had to chuckle at the photo of Santa lounging between the palm trees. And loved the photo of the tea pot and scones... yum!

You certainly had nice weather to enjoy all those lovely sunsets and food! Temps in the 80's is common in our neck of the woods, although I am glad to say we are expecting a bit of rain later this week...perfect for a fire and hot tea. Have a great week,
