August Tea at Greentree Tearoom

 Mary and I met in Lexington at Greentree Tearoom
for lunch tea today. 
The first course was Chilled Cantaloupe Soup
 followed by Asiago Scones served with Herbed Cream Cheese
and Green Tomato Chutney
 The entree was a Baked Pear with Blue Cheese
 The last two courses are from the buffet table,
Tea Sandwiches:
Poppy Seed Egg Salad
Jeweled Pepper Cream Cheese
French Radish
And, Pasta Salad with fresh corn and tomatoes
Desserts:
A Ginger Chocolate Truffle
Strawberry Mini Cupcake
and
Key Lime Custard
 
Earl Grey tea was served. 
 
 
We chatted non-stop,
and very much enjoyed Greentree's lunch tea.
