A Few "Finds" From Travels

While traveling to Florida in December with Mary,
I found a few little treasures to bring home.
I flew home on a bargain flight,  and luggage weight was limited.
I love this little dish.  It is very similar in pattern to my Sandwich Pattern Glass pieces.
It sits on my desk to hold my rings.

The Sterling Silver sugar tongs came from Big Peach Antiques
located in Georgia just off I-75, south of Atlanta.
Thanks, Angela for that tip!
I couldn't resist these vintage napkin rings for $3
at a church thrift shop in Venice, FL.
The teapot and teacup ornaments were a must for my
tea-themed tree.  They came from a small Christmas shop in Venice.
Other items included the Royal Patrician mug I thoroughly
enjoyed using during the Christmas season, and
The Royal Patrician teacup and saucer,
both from the Camellia Rose Tea Room in
Plant City, FL.
I gave this to Patty (Patricia) for her December birthday gift.
I shared this creamer and sugar in a post during December.
I purchased them in an antique shop in DeLand, FL.
I enjoyed traveling on a relaxed schedule with Mary
where we could stop whenever we felt like it.
Can't wait until our next adventure!

Love all your finds Linda, the teapot napkin rings are my favorite! Haven't been to the Big Peach lately, that sounds like a day trip soon.

Terrific finds, and I actually have those exact same sugar tongs! I happened to be in my friend's antiques shop the day a lady came by trying to sell some silver things, and my friend wasn't interested but she told the lady I might be--and I was! I may be wrong about this, but I believe your little dish is a Tiara piece that's one of a set of four in the shapes of hearts, spades, clubs and your diamond. I can't remember where, but I went to a tea room where they served tiny pieces of fruit in these. It was such a lovely presentation, and now those are on my to-be-acquired list. (Like you, I use some of my things for jewelry as well!)

What a beautiful Christmas poinsettia tea cup collection you have going there. Love the tea pretties to go on your tree, too.
