Mary and I met for lunch tea at Greentree Tea Room in Lexington today.
We were so busy chatting and visiting, I forgot to take a photo of the first course,
a delicious Corn Chowder.
The second course was an Orange Scone with
Orange Curd and Fayette Cream.
I took two photos to make up for the missed photo of the soup. :-)
The third course was Quiche Lorraine with a Salad.
Next, everyone is invited to the buffet table for sandwiches and sweets.
Olive Nut Spread in Celery Sticks,
Chicken Salad on Wheat Bread,
and Carrot Round Tea Sandwiches were the savories.

Wednesday - Saturday and 3:00 P.M. Saturday
Each year Mary and I set a goal to go to Greentree once
a month for the whole year.
Thus far, we haven't made that goal.
We will try again in 2013.
As of today, we have a good start!

I love your goal! Once a month for an entire year. Everything looks tasty and beautiful. The perfect way to spend a January day.
Linda everything looks so Yummy! Tearooms are great to visit any time of the year especially with a friend.
Beautiful! Good to have goals!
I must say that is a good goal. Yummm! I would like to go to tea once a month, but don't ever make that. Looks really good!
The sandwiches are my favorite on the tea menu - I would love the buffet! ;-)
I'm really going to miss eating at tea rooms now that I've had My gastric bypass surg. The food is too rich, but I can always have tea :)I still enjoy visiting your blog regularly.Have a great week-Denise
Your tea at Greentree looks fabulous! No wonder you want to go there at least once a month!

May this be your year for tea here every month! And Orange Curd -- why, I've never heard of it but why not? Sounds delish!
