Mary, Lana, and I met today at Greentree Tearoom
for Afternoon Tea/Luncheon.
The February menu included:
Mushroom Soup with Sherry
White Chocolate Scone
with Cherry Curd and Fayette Cream.
Chicken Cordon Bleu
with a Green Salad
And, from the buffet table:
Tea Sandwiches -
Curried Egg Salad
Cucumber and Cream Cheese
French Radish
and Sweets -
Chocolate Heart Cookies
Mini Strawberry Shortcake
and...
hot from the oven,
Amaretto Bread Pudding (oh my!)
All served with unlimited cups of Assam Tea.
We enjoyed our time for tea with non-stop chat.
Greentree Tearoom, located in downtown Lexington
changes their menu monthly.
They serve at noon on Wednesday - Saturday.

I haven't been to a tea room since last summer and after seeing the delectable food you enjoyed with friends here, I am craving an outing myself.
