Collecting Teacup Trios

It is so special when a friend remembers your passion for collecting a particular
item, pattern of glassware, etc.
My friend Nancy knows of my passion for collecting Teacup Trio Sets.
Even more special, she remembered I had only the teacup and saucer in the
Royal Albert Christmas Rose pattern.

So... she gifted me the matching plate.
My Royal Albert Christmas Rose Teacup and Saucer became a Trio Set.
Thanks so much, Nancy!

Is it too early to plan a Christmas tea so I can use this pretty set?

Yes, so thoughtful! And those trios just make SO much sense. I have several, too.

A great thing to collect. Collecting trios is more popular in Australia than the US, but I think it's the perfect thing! They set such a wonderful tea table...alone of mixed. What a thoughtful friend!

That was nice of Nancy and now you have a lovely Christmas set. Sandi at Rose Chintz Cottage is having a Christmas in July tea party next Tuesday, why don't you flaunt your new set in a post for it?
I'll be away but will be viewing all the posts when I return.
