Sweet Remembrances Afternoon Tea

Afternoon tea at Nancy Reppert's Sweet Remembrances Tea Room
is so very special.  Nancy's Tea Room in Mechanicsburg is a "must"
for tea lovers visiting the Harrisburg, PA area.
~~
Rose Jory, in the photo above,
also a member of the Afternoon Tea Across America online group,
just happened to be visiting the area at the same time we were there.
How exciting and special to be able to meet Rose at Nancy's for this special tea!
~~
Nancy set a beautiful blue and white table for our party of seven.
The flowers in the pretty teapot centerpiece are from the garden behind
Sweet Remembrances and The Rosemary House
her sister Susanna's herb and gift shop.
Our tea began with each guest selecting a pot tea from the extensive tea list.
I must add a little fun side note here:
Austin helped Nancy's niece Angelica prepare and serve tea.
Our tea meal began with a
Raspberry, Raisin, and Walnut Salad
served with Raspberry Dressing
The recipe is in Nancy's Sweet Remembrances Recipe Collection,
available for sale from her tea room and online

After the delicious salads,
the three tier tea trays with tea sandwiches, scones, fresh fruit, and desserts
were brought to the table

And, just for me a delicious Gluten Free!
And, all the sweets on the three tier server were Gluten Free, too.
How special was that?!?
Nancy asks if guests have dietary restrictions when they make reservations.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed tea time at Sweet Remembrances Tea Room
with Nancy, Angelica and Susanna.

After tea we shopped next door at The Rosemary House,
then had to say goodbye to my good friend
and roommate from our memorable 2007 Tea in London Tour.

I have been to the Rosemary House but haven't yet been to the tea room. I think I must make it a point to go there soon. So glad you had a nice time.
