Goodbye Until Next Year

The Japanese Homestay Middle School group
departed Kentucky  via Bluegrass Airport in Lexington Monday, August 5.
While Kotaro visited our home, we drank many cups of Japanese Sencha Tea.
It was an emotional goodbye for these students who
enjoyed a fun, action-packed week.
But, also a happy time because they have fabulous memories
of this wonderful experience, and know that next summer
our Kentucky group will visit them in Japan.
Thank you to the Madison County International Committee
for this great opportunity.

What a terrific experience and you and your hubby were such a help to orchestrate this! I am sure you are appreciated too!

It is so difficult to say goodbye, isn't it?

But to know you had a big part in making such memories in the hearts of all these young people - priceless.
