How to Remove a Tea Stain

I am frequently asked "how do you remove tea stains from a cup?'
My answer is to sprinkle a little Baking Soda on a damp cloth
and rub off the stain.
I have also dissolved denture cleanser tablets in tea mugs and tea pots.
Any other proved ways to remove tea stains?

I use baking soda, too! It works great and also removes any lingering odors.

Good ideas!
I think if I just wash right away I haven't found the stain to stay.

Oh thanks for the tip! I am never quite sure what to use.

My favorite mug is quite tea-stained, I will try the baking soda method! Thanks.

I use baking soda too for my teacups and teapots and really dislike going to someone's for tea and the teacups they put out are terribly stained.

Bleach mixed with water is my go-to treatment for stains, partly because it works so fast and with little effort!

@Angela McRae - I would't use bleach personally I think that would eventually destroy the cup. I love this all natural solution! I have so many tea stained cups - off to try it! P.S. Mom always knows best.
