Japanese Student Exchange

A group of 10 Madison County, KY middle school students
from three different schools, hosted 10 Japanese middle school students
for a week as part of the ongoing
Madison County International Committee Sister City Program.
The Japanese students stay with Madison County host families
for a week this year, and our students will visit them in their
homes for a week next year.  This is a 20+ year program.
We welcomed our student Kotaro and the group
at the Bluegrass Airport (Lex) on Tuesday, July 30th.
Above: Austin chose Malone's, his favorite restaurant in Lexington,
for Kotaro's first Kentucky meal.  Sushi and steak was a great start to the week.

Exchange programs such as this are so wonderful for high school students. What a great experience for Austin and your family.
