Traveling Teapot Memories

A year ago, the ATAA (online tea discussion group)
Traveling Teapot visited me in Kentucky
during the month of September, 2012.
The first pot of tea I made it was Elmwood Inn Fine Teas Kentucky Blend (above)
The Traveling Teapot was presented with the key to the city.
for a country breakfast and an introduction to a few of my Kentucky Wildcat fans.
Then on to the Kentucky Artisan Center for a visit.
Come for a visit!
The teapot traveled with me to daughter Melissa's home
for a few days and to the StockpilingMoms.com conference.
We traveled to Corbin, Kentucky to visit Colonel Sanders
at the Original Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant.
And, the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame at Renfro Valley, KY
where the Traveling Teapot sat on Rosemary Clooney's piano.
The teapot visited our farm for a quiet weekend.
And, then an overnight trip to Nashville, TN
to see Roy Acuff and Minnie Pearl at the historic Ryman Auditorium.
Did you know Corvettes are only made in Bowling Green, KY?
A stop at the museum was a must on the return trip from Nashville.
We said goodbye to the Traveling Teapot and sent her on to France
for a fun October visit.
What fun to remember some of the adventures
during Traveling Teapot's September, 2012 Kentucky visit!

By the way, the Traveling Teapot had it's own blog at this link.

A lovely trip! I love the picture of your teapot on Minnie Pearl's lap at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

I read a few posts of the travelling teapot, and it did get around!
My husband would love the corvette museum. When he retired two years ago, he finally bought his dream toy.

Is it wrong to be jealous of a teapot? ;)
