Description from Red Blossom Tea Company:
"The leaf buds of our Pre-rain Dragonwell were gathered when barely open. Immediately after harvest, the frsh leaves are expertly pan-roasted by hand: first lightly tossed, then firmly pressed and folded against the hot surface of the roasting wok. This hand roasting gives the tea its unique blade-like appearance. Crisp and floral with notes of buttered roast."
Oh, my!
I close my eyes and let the above description unfold in my mind.
Patty, Lynn, Mary and I gave this tea Five Stars
on our rating scale.
For those who know me (Angela, I'm talking to you),
I don't like Green Tea.
In my opinion, Green Tea smells like grass and tastes like grass. (my description)
I could drink this Pre-rain Dragonwell 2012 green tea every day,
if it were available. (a very high compliment!)
I need to order more from
the Red Blossom Tea Company in San Francisco soon!
A trip to San Francisco would be better,
but it's not on our busy travel calendar this year.
Steep this tea in 175 degree water for 1 minute 30 seconds.
