Counting Teacup Trio Sets

I am often asked how many Teacup Trio Sets
 I have in my collection.
I don't know.
I learned about Teacup Trio Sets
(teacup, saucer, and small plate)
at an antique shop in Chipping Campden in England in
1998, and have been collecting English trios since.
Last week I pulled out some of my trio sets in preparation for
setting my "Hearts and Roses" Valentine tea table.
So, I decided to set-up the drop-leaf dining room table and
count my trios.
To make a long story short,
I still don't know how many trios are in my collection, because
in addition to the individual patterns,
I have multiples of many, including the four Royal Patrician below. and
including, 6 of this, 9 of that, 3 of these, 5 of those, 2 here, 7 there,
and that doesn't include three different Christmas patterns, trios which match
three sets of china, and more.
I gave up!
Maybe it's just better not to know.
That way, I might think I need another trio when I find one.
Does that make sense?
I believe most of you know what I mean.
