Checking States Off The List - Maine

During our trip to the Northeast, Austin checked off  6 states
from his list, including Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine,
New Hampshire and Vermont.
It was a foggy, raining morning when we left Boston to drive toward Maine.
We stopped for breakfast at Norma's Restaurant, a small local restaurant,  in York, Maine
before traveling on to visit the 1879 Cape Neddick Lighthouse, known as
The Nubble.  Many beautiful photos of this lighthouse are found on the internet.

Readers who follow along on our family adventures, know my
husband, Glenn, loves to eat at small restaurants with what he calls "local color."
The question we often hear while traveling, and were asked by Norma, is:
"What part of the south are you from?"
This trip to the New England states was a great lesson in local
dialects and accents for 14 year-old Austin.
It turns out that Norma lived in Georgia for several years before returning to
her home state of Maine.

To keep this post on the subject of tea,
my breakfast tea was a Lipton tea bag.
