Blog Friends Meet

I met Judith of Lavender Cottage on Friday
at the Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea.
Judith and her nice hubby stopped for a quick visit while traveling south on  I-75.
Meeting fellow bloggers and blog readers has been the best benefit of blogging,
a bonus I didn't expect when I began blogging in 2008.
Judith brought me a very thoughtful tea and gluten free gift.
The GF Compliments brand chocolate cake mix by Sobeys (grocery store chain)
is a Canadian product endorsed by the Canadian Celiac Association.
I can't wait to make it and have a serving with whipped cream and fresh fruit just
like the delicious-looking photo on the box
The Tetley Earl Grey Vanille The' Special
is an English product,  available in Canada.
It is a "classic blend of Orange Pekoe teas with the flavor
of bergamot and vanilla."
This is a real treat for tea-lover me!
This tea was the topic of discussion recently among a few blog friends.
I can't wait to have a nice cuppa of this special blend.

In addition, the beautiful Tea Time card handmade by Judith
is beautiful!
Judith, thank you for the very thoughtful gifts,
and a big thank you to your hubby
for taking time out of your long travel day to stop and visit!

Linda, I enjoyed our meeting very much and thank you for suggesting we get together. I have yet to put my tea post together but must say the article about you in the Kentucky Living magazine was a good read when back in the car.
I plan to brew the tea you gifted me with tonight to drink while watching Downton Abbey.

Hi Linda,
I have taken a renewed interest in tea for this year and I just visited with Judith and thought I would pop over and visit you. How lucky you have been to England several time to have tea! That would be a dream of mine. I grew up in Ky too. I was from around Owensboro. I have now lived in Southern IL longer than I have in Ky but, I still visit there several times a year with family. It is nice to visit with you and I will add you to my sidebar so I can learn more about tea!

What thoughtful gifts, and I'm so glad you got to meet Judith face to face! (I so agree with you that getting to meet other tea lovers is one of the unexpected benefits of blogging about tea!)
