The recipe for spoonbread is gluten free.

The first course was served to all guests plated:

The presentation is lovely!

Birthday Celebration 2014

I received a pretty bouquet from Glenn and Austin, and cards from friends and family.
Let the birthday celebration begin!
Lynn and I began this morning in Midway, KY at the
Midway School Bakery.  Oh my!  I had a delicious gluten free
pumpkin muffin, and brought home a few gluten free pastries.
After visiting Midway, we drove through the beautiful
horse farm country to Wallace Station.
Lynn and I ordered the Shady Lane Chicken Salad Plate,
chicken salad, potato salad, fresh fruit and a muffin.
Midway School Bakery gluten free bread was substituted on my plate.
 Delicious!
We talked non-stop, and had a great day together!
