Traveling Tea Friends Visit Elmwood Inn Fine Teas

On Tuesday morning the ten Traveling Tea Friends visited Bruce and Shelley Richardson's
lovely Elmwood Inn Fine Teas shop in Danville, KY

I am in the photo below with Shelley, Nancy Reppert of Sweet Remembrances Tea Room
 in  Mechanicsburg, PA and Bruce.
Bruce's tea talk was, as always, fascinating.  He also answered questions,
and provided several tea tastings for our group.

 Below, Patty with Ben Richardson.
Yes, we did a "little" tea shopping.

Yes, the visit to the tea shop was great and Bruce Richardson's talk was very informative. Loved the tea tastings too, and I know that I'll enjoy drinking the Mayor's Cup tea that I purchased there.

Such fun. I was at a tea tasting last spring and it really is a good way to try something new and perhaps find a favourite.

Isn't amazing the difference between the look of Bruce's store and mine - ha! And since you were at my store I have so many more resale English teacups and saucers - it's even "girlier" if there is such a thing!
I think it is fun for us to see these photos of your group.

This was definitely one of the (many) highlights of the trip for me! Thank you so much for making it happen!

Although I never made it to the Elmwood Inn Tea Room before they closed, it was extra special to visit their show room last week and sample a lovely variety of teas. The shopping was great, too!

It's funny, but since I have seen pictures on a couple blogs I am not sure where I have left comments. Love seeing you each and everyone having fun with tea.
