Traveling Tea Friends Made Memories in My Kentucky Home

Historic Boone Tavern Hotel is well-known for it's restaurant.
Above:  Mary and I with Chef Cliff, a  long-time family friend.
Chef Cliff is the breakfast and Sunday Brunch chef.
This is my GF Monday breakfast plate below with delicious cheese grits.
By the way, the Sunday brunch buffet is a must for locals and visitors!
If you have lunch or dinner at Boone Tavern Hotel,
you will be served their delicious and famous Spoonbread.
Be sure to eat spoonbread with plenty of butter.
Below: Salmon, my Monday night dinner.
Sadly, Nancy's flight on Monday was delayed , therefore, she missed dinner with the group.
Melissa, Maureen, and I accompanied her to the dining room on Tuesday night
so she we could have a full serving of spoonbread.
The ten Traveling Tea Friends in the photo below
with Chef Cliff are:
Melissa, Lori, Phyllis, Patty, Chef Cliff,
Maureen, Mary, Lynn, Nancy, Angela, and Linda (me)

We have many fun and special memories of our visit at Boone Tavern Hotel.
 Until next time ladies,
and yes, I predict there will be another
Traveling Tea Friends Gathering.

All the gals enjoyed themselves and created interesting posts of the visit to share. I believe you excelled as a hostess Linda. I sure wish the timing had been better for me.

Such a great experience! Loved that spoonbread - I've always seen recipes, but never made it... yummy! And I tried fried green tomatoes for the first time, mini Hot Browns, and Kentucky burgoo. It was a regional feast!

I love that our goodbye pic has the word "irresistible" above it! Ha!
