Traveling Tea Friends Shop in Berea, "The Folk Arts and Crafts Capital of Kentucky"

No visit to Berea, Kentucky
would be complete without crafts shopping
in our beautiful shops,
and a visit to the Kentucky Artisan Center.
The Traveling Tea friends immediately spotted this unique
piece of tea bag art entitled
Tea of Many Flavors.
The next stop was at the Berea College Log House Craft Gallery.
And, of course we found tea art for sale in the form of  a
pretty tea kettle bird feeder
among the beautiful Berea College handcrafted furniture,
weaving, pottery and more!
I just love this pottery "pansy pillow" made by Teresa Cole.

The first trip I made through Kentucky, my husband and I spent a morning visiting the folk art shops in the small town. Everything was amazing and I could have spent days there!

Last year we were traveling to Atlanta in a driving rain storm. I saw the sign for the Artisan Center (how did we miss this before?) and stopped really just to get out of the rain. Awesome!!!! I recommend a visit for everyone who is traveling I-75. There was a quilt display and really something for everyone. Very impressive and inspiring. Very easy to spend, spend, spend!!!! Kentucky artists have amazing talent :)

You had so many great crafts there! I need to come back for a week just to focus on the Kentucky quilts!

Some day I will visit, as I have always wanted to visit the Artisan Center.
