Kona Visit

 The ship anchored off the opposite coast of Kona on the Big Island
on Wednesday, June 25th.
This was the only tender of the cruise, where we rode boats to the port.
The guys went snorkeling while
I walked and shopped. Kona was the only port where there were shops
and restaurants within easy walking distance of the port. 
 Kulihe'e Palace is the second of the two Hawaiian palaces. 
 The yellow hibiscus is the Hawaii State Flower. 

 Austin and Glenn were ready for a steak (and lobster
for Austin) dinner after snorkeling. 

 I enjoyed gluten free Creme Brulee' with Lipton Tea for dessert. 
The Lipton Tea was very good, especially after 11 days without my customary loose leaf tea.

What a fabulous vacation. The scenery was gorgeous and you squeezed in so many fun activities on your port days. That huge lobster that Austin ordered has my mouth watering. ☺

Surprised you didn't carry some of your loose leaf tea with you. Your trip does sounds magical. That lobster, oh my goodness. How fun!
