Kuai Surfing, Na Pali Shore and Cruising

Friday, June 27 was our last day and night of the cruise.
I relaxed and read on the pool deck while Glenn took Austin for
an hour of surf lessons and an hour of surfing.
The beach was beautiful and
the surfing was fun and exhausting according to Austin!

Austin fulfilled a dream by surfing in  beautiful blue water of Hawaii.

The ship departed and cruised along the coast of Kauai
and the Na Pali coastline of mystical 400-foot-high sea cliffs with
cascading waterfalls and caves.

Our final night on board the NCL Pride of America
included a return visit to Austin's favorite restaurant,
East Meets West.  This boy loves to eat sushi,
however, I forgot to take a photo of the sushi.
Below are photos of my gluten free desserts from the two dinners.
"Flight of Creme Brulee", including Green Tea, Ginger and Azuki.

On Friday night I had Coconut Tapioca Pudding served with
Spiced Mango and Orange Syrup.
I also had a cup of Japanese Matcha Tea with my dessert.

What a fantastic finish to a very special family vacation
to visit Austin's 50th state.

Love sushi! Would have loved surfing. We flew over the Na Pali coast in a helicopter. It was so beautiful.

A fantastic finish indeed! Austin is going to have lots to report when it's time for "What I Did On My Summer Vacation," isn't he!
