Making Memories With Family and Friends

After being home for only 3 days (enough to wash laundry and repack),
we took our first 8-day road trip with ALL three kids!
It was Peyton's first "long" road trip with Austin, Kaitlyn, Grandpa and Grandma.
Our first stop was a 3-night stay in Pigeon Forge, TN.
We arrived July 3rd for the holiday weekend.
Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville Restaurant
(and hotel still under construction)
in the new Pigeon Forge Island is a great addition
to the family fun activities in the area.
On to The Track, our favorite Pigeon Forge family entertainment center.
I just love the look on Peyton's face below as he rides with Grandpa.
 Austin bungee jumping...
 arcade games for all
  bungee jumping for Kaitlyn.
That is her flip-flop (shoe) in the air
tossed off after she jumped.
Best of all, we met up with our Pennsylvania friends,
the Reppert and Brill Family for great Tennessee fun,
including the delightful dinner show at Dolly Partin's
Dixie Stampede on the evening of July 3rd.

On July 4th we spent the day at Dollywood theme park
where the kids of all ages enjoyed rides and attractions.

Friday, July 5th was a day of more fun at MagiQuest
Nancy, riding the Wild Woody at The Track everyone's favorite go-cart ride.
We all visited the Titanic Museum
 More fun at Magiquest
Nancy and I became online tea friends several years ago.
We met in person in 2007 as roommates on the Tea in London Tour.
Austin, Glenn and I have visited Nancy and family
at Sweet Remembrances and the Rosemary House
and Hershey Park the last 2 summers.
Nancy visited KY in March of this year and soon after we planned this
fun Tennessee meet-up to follow their family North Carolina summer travels.
These are only a few of the many photos and memories
of this fun July 4th Weekend adventure in Pigeon Forge, TN.
It was a fun time for all!

So nice you got to meet up with Nancy and her family again. Looks like there was a lot of fun going on in Pigeon Forge. Did you enjoy the Titanic Museum?
