There is no such thing as "sleeping in" on our family travels.
We cram as many activities into each day as possible. :-)
An early morning cruise to Catalina Island where we spent the day
on Monday, September 29th.
We returned to Balboa Island for dinner and enjoyed watching the seal
"asking" for his dinner from fishing boats returning to the dock
on the waterfront just outside the
Harborside Restaurant on the historic Balboa Pavilion.
By the way, our dinner was fantastic!
After the conclusion of Glenn's meetings on Sunday,
we took the trolley to the 2,400 acres of woodland and 3.2 miles of beach
at Crystal Cove State Park
Can you see the bride and photographer in the distance?
Dinner at the Beachcomber Restaurant was delicious!
Austin took many photos of expensive sports cars
and convertibles along the scenic coastal highway.
Great fun for a boy who can see his driver's license
in the not-so-far-off future!
More adventures to come...

Such beautiful blue water and glorious skies! Look at that seal! Another fabulous adventure!
Oh I love Balboa soooo much.
Have never been to Catalina, but always wanted to go. I must put that on my list. Austin is definitely growing up.
What gorgeous scenery! I'm GLAD you pack a lot into your trips!
