Gluten Free Christmas

Our Christmas Eve dinner was gluten free except for the
package of Sister Schubert rolls.
However, I was too busy to think about photos
except for the desserts.
Turkey, Dressing, Gravy
Cranberry Sauce
Homegrown Green Beans
Mashed Potatoes
Corn Pudding
Deviled Eggs

 Easy Crustless Gluten Free Pecan Pie

Gluten Free Banana Cupcakes
Peanut Butter Fudge, a "must" for the family

In addition, on Christmas morning we enjoyed a traditional
Kentucky Country Ham Breakfast
Eggs, Grits, and Southern Redeye Gravy
They guys ate regular biscuits
I made Gluten Free Biscuits for myself
using GF Bisquick

Our favorite family Christmas season
 snack is my Mom's 1960's recipe for Party Mix
(aka Chex Mix)
I made four batches of my Gluten Free Party Mix
adapted from her recipe.

I remember when my Aunt Mary was very, very upset
when she could no longer make her
Kentucky Jam Cake and Christmas Fruit Cookies,
due to losing her eyesight.
It was her Christmas tradition to make bake those for family and friends.
I told her we would make new family Christmas traditions,
at that time I had no idea I would eventually
need to make gluten free Christmas treats for my family.

Did you know peppermint candy canes have gluten?
I discovered Bob's brand is gluten free.
