recently opened in Lexington, KY.
During Melissa's visit earlier this month, we loaded the kids in the van
and drove to Lexington to have lunch and purchase a few bakery items.
Nine year old Peyton was less-than-thrilled when he discovered
this was our destination. :-)
But, Kaitlyn (13) and Austin (15) enjoyed GF Smashed Potato Soup
and a Panini made with GF Bread declaring them to be very good!
The breads of the day were white sandwich bread
and cinnamon bread.
The muffins of the day were pumpkin chocolate chip, blueberry,
and chocolate zucchini.
The pumpkin and blueberry came home with us.
Other GF bakery items included cinnamon rolls, snickerdoodle cookies,
and lemonade cookies.
The delicious scones of the day were lemon.
As most of you know Melissa has Celiac and I have Gluten Sensitivity.
We were very happy to learn of the new
Interesting fact for my blogging friends,
Denise, the owner, told me she began as a GF Blogger
sharing her recipes then decided to open the business
