Gold Thread Reserve Tea

On several occasions, I have posted about my experience of visiting the
Red Blossom Tea Company located in the Chinatown area of San Francisco.
As result of that visit, I order tea from them several times a year.

In addition to my order, they send small samples of various teas.
This is Gold Thread Reserve (black tea).
Notice the golden color of the tea buds in the photo above.
According to the RBTC website:
Gold Thread Reserve is the first pick of the Spring season from the Feng Quing Tea Garden.
It is comprised of young tender leaf buds, each individually hand-picked to
deliver aromatics, sweetness and an exceptionally smooth mouth feel that only
come from early stage tea buds.  The tea buds in this reserve
were gathered a week and a half  before those used in regular Gold Thread.
A full description of this smooth and delicious golden red infusion is
on the Red Blossom Tea Company website.

Okay, I am going to have to order from this company based solely on your recommendations. I know if these teas measure up to your standards, they will certainly measure up to mine. Thanks for the review!

Oh, it looks beautiful. I love your photo of it pouring into the cup. I do believe this would be a tea I would love.
