April - Daisy and Sweet Pea

April's birth flower is listed as either the Daisy or the Sweet Pea.
This "Marguerite" Blue Daisy Royal Albert teacup and saucer
is special to me because of my Aunt Marguerite, my dad's sister.
My dad and his siblings, all sisters, are deceased.
Aunt Marguerite's name was misspelled and mispronounced all her life,
most often as Margaret.

The name "Marguerite" on the back stamp of the teacup
is spelled the same as my aunt's name.

The other April birth flower is a Sweet Pea.
I love the Sweet Pea Chintz mug (below).
I will be drinking my daily intake of tea from this
"Sweet Pea Chintz" mug during the month of April.

I purchased this pretty English China mug at T.J.Maxx for
the bargain price of $2.99.
While visiting Melissa, in N. KY, I found two mugs.
I'll continue to look for more at T.J. Maxx, Marshall's and Home Goods.
The April birthstone is the diamond.
April is commonly associated with the season of spring in parts of the
Northern hemisphere and Autumn in parts of the Southern hemisphere.
Happy Birthday to all April birthday friends!

Thank you for the birthday greetings! I'll be drinking tea out of my Royal Albert Sweet Pea teacup all month (a "Happy Birthday to me" last year).

I love the mugs! I could be tempted to look for some, but I won't.

How fun that you found a (pretty!) teacup with the spelling "Marguerite," and I WILL be looking for a sweet pea tea mug like yours!!!
