Spring Break 2015 - Innsbruck, Austria

Our first stop in Innsbruck was for a little shopping.
We didn't have much time in Innsbruck, but I found
a health store with gluten free foods,
and we enjoyed looking around the
Easter fair on the Walking Street.
On to our destination for the night.
More snow as we continued into higher elevations.
Our hotel was at a ski resort used during the
Winter Olympics of 1964 and 1976.
The drive to our destination took us 2 miles up a mountain
past the village of Axams in the heart of the Tyrol region of Austria.
There were several international ski teams there during our overnight.
I have more photos, but I couldn't capture the amazing scenery.
This was a once in a lifetime experience for our Kentucky students.

Our luggage was loaded on a shuttle van with chains
on the tires and taken down the steep hill
to the bus in the parking lot below the lodge.
We walked.  *Big Smile*
This was our goodbye to Austria.

Such beautiful scenery, Linda. My eye has always been drawn to winter/snow scenes - but the cold weather I can do without. I did so enjoy your photos from your trip. Glad you shared them with your readers.
