Another Lily of the Valley Teacup

This Lily of the Valley teacup and saucer is English Bone China
by Regency.  It was given to me by my Aunt Mary.
I don't recall Aunt Mary drinking "hot" tea,
so I assume this was used for coffee in her home.

I always adore the Lily of the Valley pattern. The squirrels ate all my bulbs though - every single one. I think that generation often "collected" teacups more than used them. They did consume a lot of iced tea as I still do.

What a lovely set! I guess I am pre-programmed to like anything with lily of the valley since that's my birth month flower. And I remember when I was younger, there was a fragrance (Coty, maybe?) called Muguet des Bois that was LOTV scented. It was yummy smelling!

Such a pretty tea cup... The Lily of the Valley is in bloom right now. I picked a little bouquet and have it on my windowsill - so fragrant!
