July Family Travels - Day 1 - Philadelphia

On Wednesday afternoon, July 8th,  Glenn, Austin and I picked up
10 year-old Peyton and drove to the Cincinnati Airport (CVG)
to begin our fun family travels.
These two were "goofy" from the beginning and kept us entertained for the week.
Peyton was my seat mate on the plane, and as you can see, he is terrific at taking selfies.
We traveled via a small jet from CVG to Philadelphia/PHL
Below:  Peyton's first taxi ride.
(He had a lot of "firsts" on this trip.
A late dinner at The Melting Pot for Peyton's first fondue meal.
After the appetizer of cheese fondue, a salad, a selection of meats and vegetables,
it was time for dessert fondue.  The guys chose the combo of dark and white chocolate.
Austin and I had iced tea with our meal,
Unsweetened Mango Ceylon was my choice.
This RTD tea is by Republic of Tea.

I was very pleased at the Gluten Free menu items at The Melting Pot.
I use the "Find Me Gluten Free' app on my iPhone to locate restaurants
offering gluten free menus.

Fun! I love to tag along on your travels! So glad you could find your gluten free foods, too - that sounds like a very helpful app.

One day I must go to the Melting Pot. That sounds so delicious.
I also need some of that tea.

We have a Melting Pot in our area - and it has become a spot for our 'special' celebrations!
