Nashville Girlfriend Getaway and Dwight Night

Mary and I enjoyed a fun trip to Nashville.
This is the view from our 24th floor hotel room.
We could easily see the Bridgestone Arena, the Country Music Hall of Fame,
Honkytonk Row, the Cumberland River, and more!
On Thursday, we walked and shopped along Broadway Street,
which is Honkytonk Row,
two blocks of shops, restaurants, and of course Honkytonks.
Oh my goodness, the weather was in the mid 90's, and Mary's Fitbit
said we walked nearly 11,000 steps.
Time for a break below at
Acme Feed and Seed where we shared hand-cut potato and sweet potato fries. Yum!
Views of the Cumberland Rive, Riverfront Park, and the Nissan Stadium
from the 4th floor of Acme Feed and Seed.

Inside the fun restaurant, Acme Feed and Seed, known for great burgers and fries.
Most places along the two-block area have live music.
Acme had a radio DJ who comes in on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The Goo-Goo Cluster was "invented" in 1912 at a Nashville candy company.
It is described as a roundish mound of caramel, marshmallow nougat,
fresh roasted peanuts and real milk chocolate.
In 1912, it was the first ever combination candy bar.
Previous to the advent of the Goo Goo Cluster,
candy bar manufacturing consisted of bars solely using chocolate, caramel or taffy.
The Goo Goo Cluster represented the first time a bar consisted of more than
just one principal ingredient.
Goo Goo Clusters have been a long-time Grand Ole Opry  sponsor.
Below: a sign marking the Birth of Bluegrass at the Ryman Auditorium.
The Ryman is located at 115 5th Avenue N.
And, the reason for the trip was to see Dwight Yoakam
in concert at the Ryman.
Mary is a BIG Dwight fan.  I have attended 5 Dwight shows with her.
Can you guess how many times Mary has seen Dwight Yoakam in concert?!?
While you are thinking about the answer....
Dwight sang 32 songs for 2 hours without a break,
I mean without as much as a sip of water!
It was a great show!
And, the answer to how many Dwight Yoakam shows Mary has attended

Did you guess that Mary has seen Dwight 14 times?!?
