Mary and I traveled to Nashville, TN for a 2-day Girl's Getaway.
On the way Wednesday, September 9th, we stopped in downtown
Bowling Green, KY at Tea Bayou.
I had read about Tea Bayou in several KY publications, but had not been there.
We don't often travel into southwestern area of our beautiful state.
Tea Bayou is a quaint cafe with a Tea Bar serving New Orleans-style food.
The food was delicious, they were knowledgeable about gluten,
and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch while drinking iced black tea.
You order lunch at the counter, and a server brings it to you.
You can see the many teas in tins behind the counter.
Below, Mary is looking at the display of tea and teapots below.
We planned to stop again on the drive home on Friday,
but by "losing an hour" traveling from Central Time to Eastern Time,
it didn't work out. We will however, stop there again in the future.
By the way, the last time Mary and I traveled to Bowling Green, KY and Nashville, TN,
we had the ATAA Traveling Teapot with us and stopped at the Corvette Museum.
All Corvettes are made in Bowling Green, KY.
