Adare Country House

After flying from Cincinnati to Atlanta to Dublin,
we (Glenn) drove our rental car on the "other" side of the road
about 3 hours to the southwest to the pretty village of Adare,
population 1500 to 2000, located in County Limerick.
We stayed at the Adare Country House for the first
four nights of our trip. We stayed in 2 rooms, a single and a double.
Our reason for renting 2 rooms is so that we had 2 bathrooms.
(I know, we are spoiled at home with a bathroom for each of us.)
Eileen, a retired school teacher, was our hostess.
Her husband was in the states with their son, and was due to
return the day after we departed.  A neighbor, her
daughter-in-law and granddaughter helped with breakfast.

This B and B is more like a small inn with 10 bedrooms,
2 guest lounges (parlors), TVs in all rooms and Wifi throughout.
And, of course, a dining room for breakfast.
Below:  in room tea and coffee facilities.

More photos and adventures to come.

Austin and I took photos on our iPhones and Glenn
used a point and shoot camera.  Photos by 3 photographers
on 3 devices are a little complicated to organize and share.
Austin's photos are from a "different" point of view.
many of his photos are unique and in my opinion, very artistic
and creative compared to our photos.
Example: the inside of the car photo above is his.

What a lovely place to stay! We'll enjoy seeing any pictures you post. I love the shot of the steering wheel on the "wrong" side of the car.
