Gregans Castle Hotel Tea and Scones

We arrived at the Gregans Castle Hotel, an 18th Century Manor House,
located in the heart of the beautiful Burren
at tea time. We were offered tea and fruit scones.
Six beautiful scones were brought to the table, but I forgot to take a photo
until we all started eating.

And, yes, for those who are asking.  I broke my gluten free
for one scone, just hoping I didn't get too sick to ruin the experience.

After tea, a game of croquet and walking through the gardens.

Below: the amazing view of The Burren and the Galway Bay from my window.

Lovely lovely lovely!

Hope you didn't get sick then?

What a great trip- you and yours do the neatest things.

I was wondering if they had gluten free scones there. Those look so good, I would not have been able to resist, either! Hope it didn't bother you too much.

What beautiful country side. Those scones looked worth it to break the gluten free for one. They are gorgeous and I am wishing I could get mine to look like that.
