December Teacup Trio

The Christmas Rose is last teacup trio in Royal Albert "Flower of the Month Series."
My research shows the Narcissus and Holly as the December birth flower.
The Christmas Rose is more common in Europe that it is in the USA.
In fact, several of the flowers in this series are more common in Europe.
Makes sense that Royal Albert chose those on some months.
Royal Albert has several different Christmas Rose china patterns, from 1927 - 1935.
The Flower of the Month Series began in 1970 and is still in production.
A photo, below, of the Christmas Rose plant from the internet.
The birthstone for December is the Blue Topaz

Happy Birthday to my long-time friend Patty on December 26th.
Aunt Ida's birthday was December 14th.
Happy December Birthday to those who celebrate this month!

Linda, great idea -- teacup trio. I should take photos of mine! I'll be posting one Thursday, but not like this -- it will have food and tea. That's such a lovely pattern. I'm going to enjoy looking at more now that I've discovered your blog.

Gorgeous trio! I have seen that teacup in antique stores before, but I'm always afraid I'd get home with it and have to have the other 11!
