I agree with several tea blogging friends,
the January/February 2015
Tea Time Matazine
cover featuring Royal Albert Old Country roses china
is one of my favorites.
This lovely pattern was introduced in 1962 and remains popular today.
I don't have an entire set of this china.
I only have the pieces in the photo above.
I purchased the teapot several years ago in the gift shop
at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.
We enjoyed afternoon tea at the hotel, served on
Old Country Roses. Therefore, it was the "perfect" souvenir
of that lovely experience.
I purchased the open sugar bowl and "milk jug" from eBay,
and the Teacup Trio later.
refers to Old Country Roses as
"the best-selling bone china pattern in the world."
It is featured on the cover with a Red Velvet Scone
for a Valentine's Day Tea Party.
In my opinion, this pretty china can be used in a formal or casual setting.
