Christmas Vacation - Hilton Head Island

After departing the Biltmore, we drove to Hilton Head Island, SC
where we met Melissa, Tim and Peyton for a five-night stay.
The temperatures were in the upper 70's
Melissa and I were so happy to find gluten free fried seafood.

Melissa has Celiac and has to be extremely careful about what she eats.
We dined at a different restaurant each night. There are hundreds of restaurants
in Hilton Head Island.  Most now have their GF items marked on their menus.

Melissa said she would hate to come across the crab these claws came from!
Evenings in the condo were spent playing cards, board games and watching movies.
Below is a photo Austin took after wiping out Glenn and Peyton at Monopoly.
Celebrating New Year's Eve.
The New Year's Day morning fog blocked our ocean view, but
didn't dampen our family fun!

What a lovely family vacation! And our unseasonably warm Christmas weather made the beach more enjoyable for you. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.

You do the neastest things and go to the neatest places! I really think I need to switch and be part of YOUR family! I need to get outta dodge, seriously, getting the travel fever big time. Because I work from home it seems sometimes I never leave the house. Which is kinda true a lot of the time, yikes.

I love living vicariously through you! Thanks for the smiles. Hugs.
